Recent chemistry homeworks
Due tomorrow (Wednesday 13th) are answers to the questions on pages four to seven of this workbook:
Elements, Water and Organic Chemistry Questions.
The first three pages are worth having a go at too.
Last week's homework was to colour a periodic table to show the alkali metals, alkali Earth metals, transition metals, semi-metals, halogens and noble gases. You should also show how the reactivity of the elements in groups 1 and 7 varies up/down the groups.
Here is a periodic table to download if you don't have one.
The homework before that was a page of writing on the following:
"Describe how a hydrogen powered vehicle works, and evaluate the use of this fuel in vehicles such as cars."

Revision resources
This is a link to a blog filled with practice questions and answers based on the old Additional Science specification - http://cheneygcsesciencey11.blogspot.co.uk/
We don't have so many resources for the new specification, and it hasn't change hugely, so make use of these. Bear in mind that some content has been removed from B2, C2 and P2, and some has been added. You can check exactly what you need to know here:
http://www.sciencelab.org.uk/gcses/additional-science-unit-1.php
The 'what's changed' tab shows what's gone in and come out of each topic.
